Aermotor 702 question
« on: April 11, 2007, 07:08:22 AM »
Hello,

I am trying to find out about the torque of an Aermotor 702, 10 ft, 18 blades.  I know it is too slow for electricity production, I just want to know how much weight it can lift, especially at low wind speeds.  I would assume it would be quite a bit since it is capable of lifting alot of "head" water from the well - I have heard they can start pumping at around 5mph.  I would also like to know the stroke length if possible, since I'm not wanting to use it to pump water.  I think it's about six inches.  All I have been able to find is stuff like gallons per hour ect... not how much weight it can actually lift.  Thanks for your comments.
