axial flux project
« on: October 16, 2006, 11:31:54 AM »
This is my first project at all.
I'm building a axial flux with 26 poles/39coils. Most decision are made. At this moment, i already have the 305mm disc brake with the magnets and i'm working on the 39 coils.

Now I ask for your opinions about the best configuration for the coils.
My idea is a 3-phase system (see pic)

The table below are from my excel file and presents some theoretical calculations about the turbine performance at 500 r.p.m.

What I think is that where ever you are storing your pictures has an incredibley slow server.

Please explain 26 poles (magnets I assume) vs the 39 coils. It's outside the more/less normal ratio of 4/3.

Hi, yes. 26 magnets vs 39 coils. Can you explain better the 4/3 ratio. Thanks.
