I will reuse the steel slips that I used as arms early on in this evolution.

The slips will help the spruce arms to not sag.

Also I will redo the holes the m12 bolts are. That is the area of rot that is causing me concern.

Remove the rotten wood and fill it up with a placeholder that is stronger than wood.

And we try again gang!!

You guys don't know how far this goes. one of my 4-cycle steam engines exploded it sounded loaded, it made a sonic boom that was heard pretty load... nevertheless I rebuilt the engine and ran it again, and it ran good with no problems... it bent the con rod and snapped it and ejected the piston and it landed on the roof of the building next to us.

Because of this incident we discovered why...

As long as your engine uses a camshaft to lift the valves both intake and exhaust the danger of explosion is eliminated... if the engine can run backwards the danger vis eliminated, that's the rule of thumb.

The engine that malfunctioned used vacuum it opened the intake valve that way no cam lift using the intake forced open..

I have video of this event. Its wicked... After this i was more careful and finished our testing with no further problems.

here's some pictures after it blew. I was able to find parts so I put the back together last pic-

we need more storage on multiple picture posts. I used to shrink the size of them to get them to post. We have tonns of storage as Flavio reminded me when we were working things out on the forum before.

This is not the way you address our Moderators. XeonPony registered on this forum FIFTEEN YEARS ago, he is a known member with lots of knowledge, someone you should very much respect.
He espressed his opinion due to how odd some of your replies were, you could have easily had a laugh about it or something, but being insulting is not the way to answer. You're already on post approval, if you carry on like this we will have to press the ban button, which none of us wants to do as once again we genuinely are interested into what you're doing and the improvement process.
We're not, however, interested into more drama and confrontation, you can take those someplace else, we're a chill and relaxed forum (for the most part) here, except for when @Sparweb didn't have enough sleep :P

I will follow your advice. I will take my drama someplace else.

Can you at least extend me the curtsy to have an account long enough for Matt to make a decision if he wants to stay connected or not?

I am glad it is looking that both warpspeed and magnetjuice learned a lot from my efforts along the way.

It is free of charge and I am proud to have enabled it.

Once again maximum respect to all. I know things are harder than they seem at first glance. But my drama is my saga and I will not tolerate a diss on that.

Look you cant make unsubstantiated comments here. You must back up with what your references say, by providing a link we can review that. And a link may be provided from anywhere on the web.

Sorry my wireless keyboard died.

Don't worry about your onboard files. Years ago me and TechAdmin built a system that if a post is removed it is automatically saved in the admin section. We made this a redundant system. As far as deleting you account would scram it and not be recoverable. There are five admins here and we all have to agree to such an action.

It's easier than that, any of the admins can click the button :) (Although none of us would do it like that). It is also generally recoverable, there are some edge cases but it generally is reversible.

Were in bad shape before I got Flavio involved to help us.(like 9 years) Im not going to go into logistics I was fine with it, BUT when he stopped asking for money I was like wait a minute.

Nevertheless Flavio has become a true member of the forum...

I didn't like brandnewb from the start, we detected virus's scanning our database, we could be crushed. This is what me and flavio are not talking about.

We make sure our server in on US soil last I checked were in Atlanta.

This changes things, we have 100% access. There are no records of these checks. I want to go into porno and hosting in other country's.

but you cant do that in the USA.

Your so sure we can't be hacked and your wrong. I'm not about to let the database be compromised. A lot of hypothetic hackers join in the forum as a member etc. Don't forget about our host. I had to give them permission for you access our server it doesn't how many IP addresses a user has, we keep track.

GOOOD MEDS ARE YOU SERIOUS

All I have to do is make a phone call and your locked out of the system, I've done this 3 times to you since you've been here.

I found you on a SMF help forum, that's who you are, I can find as many as you many times over.

I'm going to leave you with access for now, because I don't think you would hurt us. With your security access it is a risk.

To all forum members-

My Mom died back in aug. Ive had to take control of the family estate, ya there's some money there. But My DAD broke my moms heart. So YA I'm a little f ucking pissed off these days I am a process engineer I built the factory's that made the family wealth. My dad left with a woman that was half my moms age, Then he cut me off because of the stupid bitch he married.

15979-0

Both my other brother and his stupid kid are in Prison, why because of drugs. I saw this happening as I grew up, and vowed to never try anything. Do I drink, yes. But mom got a proper burial. Ronnie is the grave next to her, he was murdered in 1987 he was my oldest brother.

This forum used to be full of interesting, knowledgeable members, these days the only "active"members do nothing but bully and belittle new members who dare to voice and document their learning process - I guess that's the way of the world these days, all it does is to drive potential new members elsewhere to any of the numerous, welcoming and up to date forums.

These past few posts simply illustrate why this forum is dying a slow and painful death.

I expect this post will be removed, but I'm just telling you all how these squabbles look from the outside, of your bubbles.

JW, these random anger outbursts going completely off-topic are exactly what we are all talking about. They have no place in this forum, you've been told time and time again.
And then after those you always go rambling about database and hacking for whatever reason.

I actually agree with you, sean_ork. I won't remove your post, that's polite negative feedback.
