Energy policy should be in the hands of the people
« on: June 14, 2019, 11:00:30 AM »
Here are 2 stories:

This one tells how Power Companies punish solar users and impede progress.  >:(

And this one shows how the people fight back.  ;)

What can I do TODAY that would make TOMORROW a better world?

What is done in Alabama is necessary on some level. Their reason for the fee is basic business sense. Maintaining the production and distribution system costs money whether it is used or not. A fairer fee would be a base charge to all customers for that purpose. Then add charges for use and credits for production.
