looks like he could power the whole neighborhood with that.

Whats the modified alternator for? It doesn't look like it would put out much.

125KW?

maybe if you read the rules of the board before dumping a post with a million huge pictures in it on here you would know we have photo posting rules here. and that is why your other two attempts were removed. all pictures posted here have to be under 640 x 480 pixels and less than 150KB file size whether they are hosted on this server or a 3rd party server makes no difference.  if they are to large the pictures or your entire post are subject to removal at the discretion of the editor if your photos are larger than that you need to resize them or post them as links.

Should be a Diary anyway.

I never saw anything of interest at all just some "gonna be" stuff in a field.

I removed at least one post for  a couple dozen photos of excess size.

Like I said last month, these commercial projects are not topical here as far as I am concerned, either.

Oh, well not going to waste effort explaining.

chad i have to agree with ya buddy this is a tough bunch to make happy. I gave up a couple years ago and finally started checking in right before raising my turbine. I was looking for some advice on towers and finally did get a little guidance. ):

you can post pictures we love pictures they just have to be sized properly. we used to let people post any size picture they wanted here it was a total mess and everyone complained so now we have photo posting rules if you abide by them everyone will be happy...

Well ,  If all you were doing is posting some pics of a wind turbine,
then where are the pics of a wind turbine as there was not a turbine in those pics.
Plus you should size the pictures to fit on my computer screen or I can't really see them anyways

Well, I think it is great that you are patronizing the business run by the same folks that own this website, I try to do that myself as well.  I think you would agree that there have to be some rules regarding posting, and the rules are affected by the folks who use this site as well.  A lot of people who read this site live at remote locations, with internet connections that are not very fast.  For them to load numerous large pictures is at best very inconvenient.  Because of that there were size limits imposed upon the size of pictures which would be displayed with postings and comments.  Additionally, I am sure that the bandwidth costs for sending all of the data out to all of us who use this forum is getting a bit costly for our hosts.  If you quadruple or more the size of a posting by adding huge pictures to it, you are adding to the operating expenses of the hosts where it is usually unnecessary to do so.  Posting a small photo with the story and a link to a more detailed photo as needed would probably work out better for all concerned.  I hope that everyone enjoys reading this site as much as I do and tries to make it work well for all concerned.  Rich
